Festive program on Great National Assembly Square postponed by about an hour
Chisinau, 27 August /MOLDPRE/- Agenda of festive events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova is postponed by about one hour.
"Due to dense fog over Chisinau airport, the plane of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky cannot land," said a statement from the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
The plane of Romanian President Klaus Iohannis is at the Bucharest airport and cannot take off due to the fog.
The two heads of state are expected in Chisinau to participate in the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of Independence in the Republic of Moldova. President of Poland Andrzej Duda arrived in Chisinau yesterday.
