Moldovan Central Electoral Commission: 39,197 electors vote in Balti municipality

Chisinau, 5 November /MOLDPRES/ - As much as 38.89 per cent of the electors (39,197 people) voted in the Balti municipality till 21:00, according to preliminary results of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).    

As many as 99,981 people were expected to vote at the 5 November local elections in the Balti municipality, with 60 polling stations opened.  

Most voters registered in Balti, about 58.3 per cent, were women and the most active participants were seniors older than 56 years.
