43 drivers drunk driving in last three days
Chisinau, 5 October /MOLDPRES/- In the first three days of Tulburel campaign, which took place this month alone, 43 drivers were found drunk.
In the first eight months of the year, more than 4,000 drivers were found drunk, most of them in a state of advanced intoxication.
According to the legislation, the minimum degree of alcohol is a concentration of alcohol in the blood from 0.3 to 0.5 g / l or the concentration of alcohol vapor in the expired air from 0.15 to 0.3 mg / l. Advanced degree is the determination of blood alcohol concentration from 0.5 g / l and more or the concentration of alcohol vapor in expired air from 0.3 mg / l and more.
Driving the transport unit in a state of intoxication is punishable by a fine of up to 25 thousand lei or unpaid work for the benefit of the community with a duration of 40 to 60 hours. In addition, drivers are deprived of the right to drive for up to one year. If caught in a state of advanced alcohol intoxication while driving, drivers risk the revocation of the right to drive more transport units.
