
All educational institutions in Chisinau to be connected to heating supply
Chisinau, Nov. 7 /MOLDPRES/- All educational institutions in Chisinau will be connected to the heating supply today. Deputy head of the General Directorate of Education, Youth and Sport in the municipality of Chisinau Andrei Pavaloi made the statement at the operational meeting of the municipal services.
The buildings of primary classes were connected to heating last week. "Starting today, all educational institutions will be connected to the heating, as the temperatures outside are decreasing," said Andrei Pavaloi.
For his part, acting director-general of Termoelectrica company Vasile Leu said that currently, 508 objects out of the 4398 were connected to heat. "It is about 12% of their total. All the blocks are prepared to be connected to the heating. The houses are connected to the heat at the request of the tenants and the manager of the housing fund", said Vasile Leu.
According to an order of vice-mayor Irina Gutnic, today the heating season begins in the capital. It starts when average daily temperatures of up to +10°C are recorded for three consecutive days.
