ANSA recommends people to buy mushrooms only from authorized places
Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/- Good weather conditions this year have favored massive growth of forest mushrooms, especially in the Central and Northern regions. In this context, the National Agency for Food Safety / ANSA / came up with warnings to prevent cases of mushroom poisoning.
Thus, ANSA recommends people to purchase mushrooms only from specially arranged and authorized places, which have been subjected to sanitary-veterinary control and which ensure the hygiene conditions; to avoid purchasing them from the street and to consume them only after they have been cooked.
Last week, 15 people came to hospital, poisoned by mushrooms.
