As many as 1,403 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 3,623 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,403 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 128,656 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 91 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 32, medical assistants –42, auxiliary staff employees – 17.
A number of 3,859 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 286 are in extremely serious condition (60 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 8,898 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 30,659 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 1,135 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 111,314 people were treated of COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 27 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,625 people dead because of the virus till present.
