CNAM concluded contracts for high-performance services worth 235 million lei
Chisinau, 15 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The National Medical Insurance Company announced that it concluded contracts for high-performance services in 2022 worth about 235 million lei (about 4.5 million euros), with 71 public and private providers.
Waiting period for performing high-performance investigations, especially computer tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance, the quality of high-performance services, combating the phenomenon of informal payments for these services were discussed on 14 September at a meeting organized by the National Medical Insurance Company with contracted high-performance service providers.
The participants in the meeting addressed the difficulties that insured persons encounter when accessing high-performance services, especially those of computed tomography and nuclear magnetic resonance imaging.
"In recent years, although the number of high-performance medical services and the contractual amounts for them have increased, there is a decrease in the degree of satisfaction of insured persons with regard to access to the services in question. During the meeting, the impediments faced by doctors who prescribe, as well as those who provide these services, were also mentioned. In order to solve the problems, to improve and increase patients' access to the respective services, the participants put forward a series of proposals to improve the situation.
