From 1 January 2023, contracting of high-performance medical services to be carried out only through SIRSM
Chisinau, Dec. 12 /MOLDPRES/- The National Medical Insurance Company /CNAM/ announced today that from 1 January 2023, the contracting and recording of high-performance medical services will be carried out only through the Reporting and recording of medical services information system (SIRSM).
This is aimed at increasing the access of insured persons to high-performance services.
In SIRSM, insured persons can make an appointment online high-performance medical services by freely choosing the provider. The online appointment can be made by the insured person to whom the medical services have been prescribed. If the patient does not have a computer or does not know how to use it, the appointment can be made by the doctor who issued the referral ticket.
Through the SIRSM, doctors can identify the person in the CNAM database, check their insured or uninsured status, and in the case of the insured patient, fill out the referral ticket to high-performance medical services online.
CNAM notes that it is currently carrying out actions to make the SIRSM more efficient, and a new nomenclature is also in the process of being developed. Functions will be added related to the generation of various reports for providers, prescribers and CNAM, granting more roles in the information system to both providers and prescribers, informing the patient online about the appointment to the medical service.
