
Low flow hydrological warning extended until 22 August
Chisinau, August 15 /MOLDPRES/- The Hydrological Center of the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced several warnings for the period until August 22, including a Red Code of low flow.
"In connection with the lack of precipitation, as well as due to high temperatures, between August 15-22, the State Hydrometeorological Service warns that in the rivers of the Republic of Moldova the water flow will remain low (except for some left tributaries of the Dniester)". indicates SHS.
In this context, the authorities request economic agents and the population to consume water resources rationally.
In the following days, up to +32 degrees Celsius will be recorded throughout the country and rains are expected.
