Moldova provides another consignment of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine

Chisinau, 9 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldovan rescuers today set out to Ukraine, in order to carry consignments of humanitarian assistance.   

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the consignments of international assistance, worth 1.2 million lei (about 60,000 euros), were allocated for free and belonged to the North Power Distribution Networks Stock Company and Moldelectrica State Enterprise.      

The assistance include electric equipment, among which cables, illumination objects, electricity transformers, connectors of various types, isolators, as well as equipment needed for the process of providing electric energy on the territory of Ukraine. The material assets will be received and carried to the Khmelnytskyi city by employees of the Interior Ministry’s IGSU.  

The decision on providing assistance to Ukraine was taken by Moldova’s government.
