New head of Competition Council appointed today
Chisinau, 17 Feb. / MOLDPRES /- Alexei Gherțescu was today appointed by the Legislature as a member and chairman of the Competition Council. A majority of the deputies present at the meeting voted for his candidacy.
Also today, Alexei Gherțescu took the oath before the legislative forum.
Alexei Gherțescu has a law degree and a master's degree in civil law. He worked in the law firm Alexei Ghertescu, United Nations Development Program, was a lecturer at the Free International University of Moldova, has work experience in private companies. He is a member of the Moldovan Bar Association.
The former president of the Plenum of the Competition Council, Marcel Răducan, was dismissed on August 11, 2021, based on the resignation request.
