Same food menu to be served in kindergartens in Chisinau
Chisinau, 25 January /MOLDPRES/- The school canteens started operating in 128 educational institutions in Chisinau. At the same time, to maintain quality control, the same menu will be served in kindergartens.
Deputy Mayor Angela Cutasevici said today at the online meeting of the services of Chisinau that as of today in 128 municipal educational institutions, the operation of school canteens has started. "According to the decision of the Chisinau Municipal Council in December 2020, the financial norm for feeding pupils who benefit from free food has been increased by 5 MDL. These are children from disadvantaged families and children who have had TB, "said Cutasevici.
According to the official, for an integrated management of the food process, a common food procurement procedure was organized for the early education institutions. “All kindergartens in Chisinau are provided with products of the same quality, origin and price. Thus, the consortium agreement was signed between the General Directorate of Youth Education and Sports and the relevant directorates. This procedure will ensure the maintenance of quality control and a unique food menu in kindergartens ", Cutasevici said.
