Specialists announce warmer winter than other years
Chisinau, 1 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- This winter will be warmer than other years, according to Ghenadie Roşca, head of the Forecast Center of the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS).
"Usually, in the Republic of Moldova, the average temperature in winter ranges between 1-3 degrees Celsius below zero. However, this year we expect an increase of this index by 1-2 degrees. Compared to last winter, the current one will be warmer. Thus, during the whole period of meteorological measurements in Moldova, ie for the first time in 120 years, the air temperature was about 5 degrees higher than the norm ", he said.
However, the specialist states that "of course, this winter we will also have snow, but, for the time being, we cannot make certain forecasts in this regard".
For the first days of this winter, meteorologists announce +3 +13 degrees Celsius during the day and - 3 + 5 degrees at night, variable sky, periodically sunny. The first flakes are expected on 4 December.Photo: bestlifeonline.com
