Two physicians of Moldovan Medical University get Excellence Scholarship provided by World Federation of Scientists

Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ Researchers Irina Cabac-Pogorevici, university lecturer at the cardiology discipline and Rodica Eremciuc, university assistant at the Pediatrics Department of the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, have got the Excellence Scholarship of the World Federation of Scientists (WFS) for the 2024-2025 university year.

At the contest for scholarships, Irina Cabac-Pogorevici participated with the project on the optimization of the diagnosing and therapy of the heart insufficiency through artificial intelligence.

For her part, Rodica Eremciuc participated in the contest with a project on the applicability of the tri-Ponderal mass index in combatting the obesity in children in Moldova.

The World Federation of Scientists this year provided scholarships to 10 students training for doctor’s degree and young researchers from Moldova.

Moldova has been a WFS member since 1999.
