The National Archive Agency offers free access to Sfatul Țării fund. The event commemorates 27 March 1918, when the legislative body decided on the Union of Bessarabia with Romania. The documents can be accessed online by all interested parties.
The National Archive Agency announces that it has digitized about 20,000 pages. Access to Sfatul Țării fund is open to history teachers, students, and anyone interested. In total, 158 files of Sfatul Țării are made available.
“The National Archive Agency offers, on the eve of March 27, the day of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania (1918) access to teachers in high schools and higher education institutions, as well as to all those interested, regardless of your location in the world, including in Alaska, Greenland, or Antarctica, if you have an internet connection, to Sfatul Țării fund (727), inventory 1, totaling 44 files; and inventory 2, 114 files, totaling 158 files,” is stated in the National Archive Agency's announcement.
Documents can be accessed for free and downloaded in PDF format by visiting the official page of the National Archive Agency. Necessary information can be found using keywords.
Documents are available in Romanian, Russian, and a few in French, the institution notes.
