Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - The government, at a today’s meeting, adopted a decision, under which the deadline for the putting into operation of the technical and production infrastructure of the industrial park FAIP was extended by two years.

According to a feasibility study, the project was scheduled to be carried out in a 15-month period and the law passed in 2014 set a term of two years. In line with the concerned study, the estimative value of the investments amounted to 3.4 million euros. Yet, during the implementation of the concerned project, Venador-Prim Ltd company, on the basis of which the industrial park was created, faced a string of obstacles, which directly influenced the period of carrying out the project. The approval of the project lasted nine months and the works were ceased and the project was returned to the designing company to make the changes, after underground waters had been discovered. Other works were procrastinated too.

The industrial park is constructed on a private land with an area of five hectares, of which 45 per cent will be meant for future residents to carry out the works planned. Fifty five per cent of the land’s area will be used by the managing enterprise for the construction of the administrative building, a plant for producing spinned  pillars, as well as other buildings meant for the employees of the industrial park. During two years, the enterprise invested three million lei, which is more than the value of the exemption of 2.7 million lei.

Presently, ten industrial parks are working in Moldova, within which 60 economic agents carry out their activity.
