Moldovan Culture Days held in Portugal

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan Culture Days were held in Portugal. The event was organized by the Miorita Moldovan Immigrant Cultural Association, with the support of the Diaspora Relations Office of the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The purpose of this year’s issue of the Moldovan Culture Days in the Portuguese Republic was the involvement of the three educational centres in Diaspora working in Portugal: Literary Dramatic Club “Mostenitorii” of the Miorita Association, Algarve Orthodox Cultural Centre and Moldovan Diaspora Educational Centre in Cascais.
The event highlighted the importance of involving representatives of the diaspora in promoting Moldova’s national culture and traditions.
Over 700 compatriots participated in the Moldovan Culture Days in Portugal.
