First parliament speaker of Moldova to be led on last road

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ – All those who met and cherished Alexandru Mosanu could say goodbye to him on 09 December 2017 evening at the Church of Saint Teodora de la Sihla, where the inanimate body of the first Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova was brought, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

On 10 December 2017, at 10:00 – 13:00, funeral ceremony will commence at the Palace of the Republic, hall II. At 12.00 – 13.00 there will be an In Memoriam rally. The funerary corridor will then move to the Stefan cel Mare and Sfant monument where a rally will take place at 13:30. From here the funeral cornice will move to the central cemetery on street Armeneasca.

The first Parliament Speaker of Moldova, Alexandru Mosanu, died on the evening of 07 December 2017, at the age of 85 years. He was MP in the Parliament of Moldova in 1990 – 1998 and served as Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova in September 1990 – February 1993.
