Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan government has met the 10 conditions submitted by the EU and is ready to benefit from the first installment of the 100 million euros. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made the statement at a TV show on 1 February.
The official noted that now the authorities are awaiting an assessment mission from the EU institutions. “The topic is not discussed if the money comes or not. Once the agreement has been signed, the EU will meet obligations. We have met the conditions for the first installment of money and sent a letter to the European institutions. We await the EU evaluation mission”, he said.
Earlier, the premier said the first installment of macro-financial assistance could reach Moldova in March.
The macro-financial assistance offered to Moldova is worth 100 million euros, of which 60 million euros will provided as a loan and 40 million as a grant. The money will come in three installments and only after Moldova fulfills 28 conditions.
