Soroca customs post resumes activity today

Chisinau, 7 March /MOLDPRES/- The Soroca customs post resumed its activity today and operates as normal.
It was inoperable for nine days starting from 26 February, due to ice bridges formed over the Dniestre river.
Spokeswoman of the Customs Service Cristina Rau noted that because of the ice, the river traffic through the Cosauti customs post remains suspended.
“As long as the traffic through this crossing point is suspended, people may opt for other border customs posts, such as – Soroca and Otaci,” Rau said.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the yellow code of ice formation expires today.
