Moldovan parliament ratifies more documents concerning mail services

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today ratified the Arrangement on payment post services and its final protocol, compiled in Istanbul on 6 October 2016. The document was voted with the votes of 85 MPs.

The document ratified today regulates the providing of payment services concerning the cash order postal transfer, payment order, reimbursement order and urgent order. The arrangement will bring Moldova’s services in line with the acts of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).

Moldova has been UPU member since November 1992. The Union is made up of 192 countries, which form the single postal territory for mutual exchange of the shipments of the letters post. The freedom of transit is guaranteed on all territory of the Union.
