Meeting of working groups for developing road transport, roads' infrastructure held in Tiraspol

Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ - A new meeting of the working groups for the development of the road transport and roads’ infrastructure took place at the Tiraspol-based headquarters of the OSCE Mission in Moldova. Participating in the event were the political representatives in the process of negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement on behalf of Chisinau and Tiraspol, Cristina Lesnic and Vitaly Ignatyev, respectively, and international partners within the five-plus-two talks, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The sides continued the string of discussions on the procedure of allowing vehicles from the Transnistrian region to the international road traffic. The sides are to identify a compromise variant and able to regulate the status of these transport units, way of registration, documentation and other technical aspects.
