Agenda of cultural events for next days in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ - A literary and musical show titled, Man of Sunday, in the memory of departed poet Grigore Vieru will take place at the Nicolae Sulac National Palace  on 17 May at 18:00. The event is organized by the Moldova-Concert Concert and Impressario Organization, with the support of the Education, Culture and Research Ministry.   

On the same day, at 19:00, the ethno-folk band, Plaiesii, will present to public a show on the launch of a CD titled at the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic.  

Also on 17 May at 18:00, a play titled, The Unnamed Star, by Mihail Sebastian, will be staged at the Luceafarul Theatre and the play, Warm Weather in November, by Yana Dobreva -  at the Eugen Ionesco National Theatre at 18:30. The Maria Biesu National Opera hosts a play, The Trubadour, by Giuseppe Verdi on the same day at 18:30.  

On 18 May, the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre stages the play, The Unnamed Star, by Mihail Sebastian. A spring concert on the occasion of the Ascension of the Lord – a collection of spiritual songs sung by the band Udo Karl Otto Meyer, takes place at the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic at 18:30.
