Moldovan deputy PM discuss national security issues with delegation of Royal College for Defence Studies in UK

Chisinau, 17 May /MOLDPRES/ – The identification of solutions to regional and national security challenges can only be achieved through a plenary cooperation of Moldovan authorities with the Euro – Atlantic partners. The statement was made by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca, during an official meeting with representatives of the Royal College for Defence Studies in the UK, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The discussions focused on resilience of Moldova to respond to hybrid and conventional threats, prospects for resolving the Transnistrian conflict, and relationships of Chisinau with London, in context of anticipation of Brexit in 2019.
In other news, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca, has asked to obtain scholarships for Moldovan citizens at the Royal College for Defence Studies.
