Moldovan foreign affairs ministry to participate in activities of European Town Ungheni 2018

Chisinau, 18 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), along with the European Union Delegation in Moldova will participate in the European Town 2018 in the Ungheni city on 19 May, the MAEIE public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

This year, the European Town is organized in Ungheni for the first time ever. Visitors will take knowledge of projects and programmes implemented in Moldova with the European Union’s support at stands of the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, governmental institutions and embassies accredited in Chisinau.

At the same time, the guests will have possibility to take part in contests and quizzes on topics related to the European Union, to familiarize with the process of implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, as well as to put questions on Moldova’s European integration.

It is worth mentioning that the Moldovan government approved an action plan on the marking of Europe Day for 2018, which includes a string of activities on the promotion of European values and projects on development carried out with European funds.
