Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/- Over 150 young people from the south of the country who want to open up or develop a business have recently participated in the second edition of the Business School, held in Cahul. The training was organized by the Association of Moldovan Businessmen (AOAM) in partnership with the South Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud) and Cahul district council.

The project participants had the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills, with training and consulting to start a business. The entrepreneurial education training was divided into four modules: entrepreneurial thinking and action, first business and first money, business expansion, business financing.

“Business spirit is the engine of economic development, creating wealth for both entrepreneurs and society in general. We want to see more young people starting businesses, and through their example, urge others to develop beautiful things,” AOAM trainer Alina Andriuţă said.

ADR Sud and the Association of Businessmen cooperate under an agreement concluded in 2016. The sides have proposed to back the process of turning to good account and optimizing the social and economic potential of the South Development Region, and to promote entrepreneurial culture among young people.

AOAM Business School is organized every year in all areas of the country, after it started in 2017 in the North Region. The event was successful among young people and became traditional.
