Chisinau, 30 May /MOLDPRES/ – About 50 pupils from the forms specialized in fine arts of the Ginta Latina, Liviu Deleanu and Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici lyceums from Chisinau today displayed their works at a fine art exhibition titled, Loc de joacă pentru visul meu (Play ground for my dream), inaugurated at the National Library of Moldova (BNRM).

The event is organised by teachers from these institutions together with BNRM. Interviewed by agency, sculptor Valentin Vartosu, a professor at lyceum Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici, mentioned that unlike previously, in current issue there have been exhibited works not only of pupils from forms I – IV from the three educational institutions as well as those ones in of form 9.

"The work of children is a miracle. The point is that each work was done in a special formula. Professor Lilia Prisacaru chose topics for each pupil individually, according to spirit and individual way of seeing things. Thus for the first time in exhibition with this generic there is a harmony between teacher and pupil, proposed subject and work done," said Valentin Vartosu.

The deputy director of lyceum Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici, Lilia Prisacaru, pointed out that this project was initiated 15 years ago. "We organised the first exhibitions at the Romanian Language House, then at Theatre Licurici, and starting 2010 at the National Library. They aim to promote children's work and encourage them to create," said Lilia Prisacaru.

In this context, head of host institution, Svetlana Miron, said that the National Library has for some time become a place for promotion of young plasticists. "They are very talented young people, but success comes only where there is work, a tendency towards more knowledge. This is why I urge students to visit the National Library more often, because only here there will collections of heritage in universal and national arts," said Svetlana Miron.

During the event, three artistic colleges held a musical recital. All participants at exhibition, including their teachers, were awarded merit certificates by organisers.
