Candidate for mayor's office votes for "European city"

Chisinau, 3 June /MOLDPRES/- The candidate for the mayor’s office of the capital, Andrei Nastase, voted today for “a European city and a better future at home”.
Nastase appeared at the polls in early morning accompanied by his consort and the youngest daughter. He noted he voted “with confidence, hope for a better future at home”.
“I voted for my values of truth and dignity, responsibility and assumption. I voted as just so we can make democracy. We want a better quality of urban life. I voted with confidence in what I call good judgment and I have great confidence in Chisinau residents who will choose a dignified mayor,” he said.
He urged the residents of the capital to come to vote. “On this important day for all of us, for the city and for the suburbs, take your friends, neighbors and go to the polls.”
Andrei Nastase was born on 6 August 1975 in Mandresti village, Telenesti district, is married and has three children. He is a lawyer, civic activist and politician, founder-member and leader of the Dignity and Truth Platform, head of founding member of the Dignity and Truth Party.
Several pro-European parties have announced their support for Andrei Nastase.
