Socialists' party candidate urges Chisinau citizens to vote for mayor dealing with city issues

Chisinau, 03 June /MOLDPRES/ – The candidate from Socialists' party (PSRM) to position of mayor general of Chisinau municipality, Ion Ceban, has exercised his right to vote and urged Chisinau citizens to participate in polls actively. "If you want to change something you have to go to polls. A mayor does not have to deal with ideologies, but to make roads," said Ceban.
The candidate at mayor's office of Chisinau municipality came to polls with his wife and children after attending church service officiated in honour of Emperors Constantine and Helena.
He has urged inhabitants of capital to exercise the right to vote, because only by voting things can be changed and has said that if he is elected mayor, he will fulfill promises made within election campaign.
Ion Ceban has specified he will monitor elections and first results from party headquarters.
Ion Ceban was born on 30 June 1980, in Chisinau, is married and has got two children. During recent years he worked as a counselor in Chisinau Municipal Council. Previously he held several positions, including deputy Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
