Employees of General Inspectorate for Emergencies to test street sirens

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/- Employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that today, at 10:00, they will test the automated centralized notification system.
IGSU press officer Liliana Puscasu said the street sirens would be heard from one to three minutes.
"During the verification of the system, the rescuers urge citizens to remain calm, and the heads of public institutions and administrations are asked to ensure peace in the territory and further work,” she said.
The automated centralized alert system through the street siren network is used to alert the people in case of any emergencies.
The testing activity is carried out according to the Civil Protection Training Plan of the Republic of Moldova.
