Around 40,000 persons address antiheat tents in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ – Around 40 thousand persons have addressed, from 14 August to present, to antiheat tents installed in several localities of Moldova.

Interviewed by agency, head of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, Liliana Puscasu, specified that "the mothers with children, elderly persons and other categories of people addressed at the rehabilitation points."

Also, the antiheat tents will no longer be active today. The decision was taken in the context of the holidays in late August. According to authorities, people will have miniholidays and many of them could go to rest. After completing the holiday, if the high temperatures are maintained, then the authorities will decide whether reinstall the rehabilitation points.

From summer start to mid – August, there were installed 09 antiheat tents in Moldova, to which addressed over 7,400 citizens.
