Moldovan foreign affairs minister to pay working visit to China

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will pay a working visit to China on 17-21 September. The Moldovan diplomacy head will have a string of bilateral meetings with high-ranking officials of the Chinese leadership and will participate in the World Economic Forum, due in the Tianjin city, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.   

The visit’s agenda includes bilateral discussions on the evolution and deepening of the Moldovan-Chinese relations with Foreign Minister, State Councilor Wang Yi, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Party Committee Secretary for the People's Republic of China Zhang Yesui, the head of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, Song Tao, President and Professor of China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU ) and Chancellor of China Diplomatic Academy, Qin Yaqing, representatives of the Chinese business environment and corporations interested in the implementation of investment projects in Moldova.   

At the meeting in Tianjin, called Summer Davos, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will take part in a string of topic-related sessions, the participants in which will discuss subjects at the world level on new ways towards globalization. The Moldovan foreign affairs minister will also present Moldova’s attractiveness as destination for foreign investments, as well as the potential of the system of innovation and development of the country’s digital economy, will have a string of bilateral meetings with representatives of the states participating in the meeting, including with European Commission Vice-President for the Euro and Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis.
