More categories of employees to benefit from prizes, salary increases in Moldova

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - More categories of employees will be able to benefit from prizes and salary increases, according to a cabinet decision published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Official) today.

Under the document, the civil servants with special status of the Service for Prevention and Combating Money Laundering will be able to receive monthly increases for efficiency in fighting the money laundering and financing terrorism worth up to 1.5 office salaries. The way and conditions of their payment will be approved by the director of the Service. At the same time, the aforementioned civil servants will benefit, according to the decision, from other stimulation payments and from an annual prize.

The civil servants of the Central Electoral Commission will also receive monthly increases worth up to 1.5 office salaries for efficiency in work.

The decision published in the Official Journal also sees that the employees of the public law organizations from the fields of research and innovation, including the management of Moldova’s Academy of Sciences, can benefit from one-off prizes, the size of which will not exceed an office salary.
