Almost 100 homeless persons to be able to get accommodation at centre in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ – The persons which are homeless or haggling on the streets of Moldovan capital can benefit from shelter and hot food at the Accommodation and orientation centre for homeless ones.

According to the Chisinau city hall’s information and media communication service, the centre is located on street Haltei, 2. Also, the persons can address to the social workers of the institution at the following telephone numbers: 022-354-038 or 022-354-039.

Similarly, the municipal authorities urge the inhabitants of Chisinau to call the National Service 112, when they observe in the streets persons which freeze and need care.

The Accommodation and orientation centre for homeless persons is a municipal budget institution providing free temporary assistance to people without stable residence, without income or with insufficient income to ensure daily living needs. The capacity of the centre is 100 places. During the cold period of the year, 01 November – 31 March, the institution provides housing services for non – stop beneficiaries.

At present, almost 30 people are housed in this centre and catered for three times a day.
