Changes to legislation of Moldova to be published only on www.legis.md platform starting 01 January 2019

Chisinau, 01 January /MOLDPRES/ – The Ministry of Justice (MJ) has announced that starting today, the only source of updated info on legislation – the State register of Legal Acts (RSAJ) of Moldova, will be online platform www.legis.md.

According to the nominated ministry, www.lex.justice.md info system will remain available, but it will not contain the latest legislative changes.

The RSAJ of Moldova ensures free and free of charge access to Internet for all legislative and normative acts published after 23 June 1990, as well as for their updates as they are amended and completed. The register also ensures keeping of legislation through an automated info system and brings transparency in the decision – making process.

According to the objectives of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy for 2011 – 2016 on optimisation of normative database, www.legis.md registry was created with the purpose of implementing an efficient and operative electronic system. The register www.legis.md was launched in September 2015 and currently contains over 75 thousand documents. This is the successor to register www.lex.justice.md, which appeared in 2007, and it is to improve the legislative acts platform.
