More flights cancelled or delayed in Moldova

Chisinau, 7 January /MOLDPRES/ - More flights were cancelled or delayed at the Chisinau International Airport today.    

Thus, the today’s 9:40 flight to Istanbul, Turkey, was cancelled. At the same time, decision-makers estimate that another plane to the same destination, due to fly from Chisinau at 13:35, will be able to take off as late as at 17:20.

Another flight from Istanbul, with which passengers were to arrive in Chisinau today at 8:45, was cancelled too. And the passengers due to arrive in Chisinau from Istanbul at 17:30, might land on the Chisinau Airport as late as at 20:20.

A flight from Geneva is delayed by several hours. Thus, they estimate that the passengers will reach destination as late as at 16:30, by four hours later than scheduled.   

Foreign media wrote that the heavy snowfall from the north-western Turkey triggered delays and cancellations of flights in Istanbul.
