Moldovan products can be exported to Russia by transiting Ukraine

Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/- Moldovan products can be exported to the Russian market by transit through the territory of Ukraine. The announcement was made by head of state Igor Dodon, who returned yesterday evening from an official visit to the Russian Federation.
According to the official, the decision is valid as of 31 January. "After the visit, the most important result is that Russia allowed the transit of Moldovan goods to the territory of Ukraine, which was forbidden by the Russian Government's decision of 29 December 2018. The decision on transit was agreed with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin,” Dodon said.
At the same time, the head of state announced that the first 12 KAMAZs donated by Russia will reach the next week in Moldova. "They are sent to our country by the Russian Government for distribution in the largest cities and district centers," he said.
"So, I communicated that "migration amnesty" is taking place under planned regime, the Russian side is fulfilling its commitments on canceling violations our citizens have committed during their stay in Russia. We also agreed to organize a Moldovan-Russian forum in mid-March with the participation of representatives of the regions of the Russian Federation, whose leadership has previously signed agreements with the leadership of the Moldovan districts," he said.
Dodon paid an official visit to Russia. He had many meetings with Russian officials, including President Putin.
