New rules to purchase medicines in 2021 to be applied in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- The promulgation decree and the law amending Article 89 of the Law No131/2015 on public procurement will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 22 March.
Under the new provisions, from 1 January 2021, public procurement procedures for drugs and medical devices will be carried out through the information system State Registry of Public Procurement (RSAP) and electronic means of communication.
The project was initiated by the Ministry of Finance and is meant to avoid any crisis situations in the supply of medicines and medical devices.
The document was adopted under Article 106 of the Constitution, by the government liability for parliament.
