Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- Car parking on the sidewalks will be allowed only leaving at least 1.5 meters for pedestrian traffic. This is stipulated in a government decision that was published in the Official Journal of Moldova today.
The new rule was imposed not to create obstacles to the movement of people with disabilities, carriages or elderly people.
At the same time, stationary vehicles must not block access to stairs, ramps or curbs, intended for persons with mobility deficiencies.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, within 30 days of the publication of the government decision, will review the departmental normative acts in accordance with its provisions.
