All consumers to have reading data devices remotely to gas meters

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/- Data on gas meters can be read remotely. Moldovagaz stock company with gas distribution network operators implement a project for installation of remote meter reading, called radio module.
Moldovagaz company has a long-term programme for installing the remote meter reading for all consumers’ records in Moldova. Implementation of the program starts in 2019 in Chisinau, in cooperation with the Chisinau-Gaz company.
Two ways of reading meter index are currently used: direct reading by operator at the consumer’s home and indirect reading by consumer.
