Cimislia to host 6th edition of Flower Parade

Chisinau, 12 April /MOLDPRES/- Flower growers from all over the country will participate on 21 April in the 6th edition of the Flower Parade fair, due in Cimislia.

The event is dedicated to the promotion and support of florists and aims at identifying the prospects for the development and marketing of ornamental plants. The event will include exhibitions of flowers, shrubs and decorative trees, seed material, floral gourmet products, traditional handicrafts and textiles of folk craftsmen with floral themes, horticulture equipment, master classes in flower care and contests.

"Floriculture is an area that deserves to be developed, and over the last editions of this festival we managed to focus on Cimislia horticulturists interested not only in the south of the country, but also from the whole country. We would like this fair to become popular also abroad, as there are many such events that have become famous throughout the world. The floriculture sector has great potential to be promoted by acquainting buyers with the assortment, the diversity of floral products and the production volume of the floral growers with various shrubs and decorative trees,” deputy head of Cimislia district Gheorghe Netedu said.
