Euro, U.S. dollar to appreciate against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 07 May /MOLDPRES/ – In upcoming days, the European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD) appreciate against the Moldovan leu (MDL), according to the official exchange rates displayed today by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, EUR increases by MDL 0.10 and costs MDL 20.03, while USD adds MDL 0.02 – MDL 17.89.

The Romanian leu (RON) appreciates with MDL 0.02 too. As a result, it reaches the price of MDL 04.21.

As for the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB), the BNM has set quotations similar to the ones of today: RUB – MDL 0.27, and UAH – MDL 0.67.

These quotations are valid until Sunday, 12 May, as far as this weekend, the budget employees have a four – day minivacation for the holiday of 09 May.
