Students from poor families can get scholarships worth 10 thousand lei

Chisinau, 2 October /MOLDPRES/- Students from poor families can get annual scholarships worth 10 thousand lei. The applications for the contest will be submitted by 28 October.
30 scholarships worth 10 thousand lei each will be awarded within the program Scholarships for your future. The money can be used to cover education expenses, such as paying the tuition fee or accommodation fee, purchasing food and supplies.
The students enrolled in studies with daily frequency, in the first year having good academic results and participate in academic, extracurricular and voluntary activities will be able to benefit from scholarships. Young people from low-income families, incomplete families or with three and more children, orphans or children left without the care of parents and young people with disabilities will be eligible too.
The beneficiaries will be able to apply for renewal of scholarships for the next year if they have successfully graduated the previous year of studies, showing academic performance and involvement in extracurricular activities.
The program was launched by the University Information Center and is organized with the full financial support of a commercial bank in our country, being supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
