Over 484 million lei to be earmarked to implement single salary payment system in public sector of Moldova

Chisinau, 19 November /MOLDPRES/ - More than 484 million lei will be transferred from the allocations approved in the 2019 state budget to partially cover the expenses for the enforcement of the provisions of the law on the single salary payment system in the public sector, under a cabinet decision approved today.  

According to the decision, transfers with special purpose amounting to 363.3 million lei, as well as other current transfers with general purpose worth 120.73 million lei will be made to the local public authorities’ budgets.   

By derogation of the regulation on the financing based on standard cost per one pupil of the primary and secondary general education institutions, subordinated to the second-level local public authorities, the allocations meant for the primary education institutions, gymnasiums and lyceums will be distributed to the concerned institutions depending on the needs identified at each institution.
