Moldovan speaker attends anniversary meeting of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly

Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Zinaida Greceanii participates, at the head of a parliamentary delegation, in the 50th anniversary meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States held on 20-22 November in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker will attend the event, will deliver a speech and will hold a lot of bilateral meetings. The Moldovan delegation will exchange views on topical issues and mutual interest with colleagues in other Parliaments.

A priority issue on the interparliamentary agenda for the Republic of Moldova is boosting economic relations and cooperation in the cultural-humanitarian fields, as well as the free movement of persons.

The delegation includes the heads of the Commissions on public control of the finances Vladimir Golovatiuc and of the Commission on agriculture and food industry Radu Mudreac, as well as MPs Vladimir Bolea and Gheorghii Para.
