Chisinau, 5 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today visited the bread-making factory Brodetchi from the northern Soldanesti town, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The enterprise marks the 25th anniversary of its foundation this year. Daily, those almost 90 employees produce about 10 tons of bread and confectioner’s goods, distributed not only in the Soldanesti district.

The PM had a dialogue with the factory’s director, Ion Brodetchi, who enumerated a string of problems faced by the enterprise he leads. Brodetchi also shared with the prime minister the plans of investments in the enterprise’s development.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Ion Chicu assured the entrepreneur of the government’s support. “You have our every support, if you rule to extend and generate more jobs for people from the region,” the PM said.

In Soldanesti, Prime Minister Chicu paid a visit to the Forever seeds factory. The enterprise, set up in 2001, has 40 employees. Annually, they cultivate and technologically process 1,500 tons of maize seeds. Almost 70 per cent of these seeds are meant for export to Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Asian countries and the rest are used on the domestic market.

Prime Minister Chicu informed entrepreneurs about the cabinet’s intentions to massively invest in the road infrastructure in 2020. He noted that this step would simplify the management of the business and will cut the transport costs and was also meant to attract industrial investments in Moldova’s districts, as well as to enhance the social well-being. The latter will be an important stimulus in the evolution of the regional business.
