Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/- The draft law amending Article 11 of the Law on healthcare, establishing the increase of the unique allowances granted to young specialists - doctors, pharmacists, medical and pharmaceutical personnel was published in the Official Journal of Moldova. The document will enter into force in early 2020.
Under the amendments, the unique benefit for doctors and pharmacists will increase starting next year from 45 thousand to 120 thousand lei, and the one for medical and pharmaceutical staff – from 36 thousand to 96 thousand lei. The allowance is to be paid in three equal installments, of 40 thousand lei annually for doctors and pharmacists, respectively 32 thousand lei for medical and pharmaceutical personnel, after the expiration of the first month of activity and, later, at the end of each year of activity.
People who have received compensation rates previously set by law will continue to benefit from increased rates accordingly. For the compensation rates previously received, the recalculation will not be carried out.
A number of 1,260 young specialists will get increase allowance.
