Young people from Moldova to get grants of up to 180,000 lei for business development

Chisinau, 3 January /MOLDPRES/- Young Moldovans, who want to develop a business, can get grants of up to 180 thousand lei from the state. These will be offered during the first call for projects from the third stage of the Start for Young People Program, which was launched on 3 January by the Organization for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM).

The applications can be submitted by 3 February 2020. The competition can be attended by young people aged of 18-35 who have completed the second stage of the Program and who have founded and lead a newly registered company.

The non-reimbursable financing offered to the winners is 80% of the investment project, but no more than 180 thousand lei per beneficiary. At the same time, the beneficiary company will have to come with a financial contribution of at least 20% of the amount of the investment project.

The program Start for young people was launched early last year.
