Moldova's Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture starts informing campaign on financing for 2020

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA), in partnership with the Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry and with the financial support of Moldova Agroindbank, on 20-31 January will carry out an information campaign on opportunities of financing for this year through the National Fund for Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment.  

The goal of the campaign will be to widely inform farmers, local authorities’ representatives about possibilities of accessing post-investment subsidies, in advance for startup projects, as well as subsidies in advance for improving the living standards in the rural environment.  

In the context, Agency’s representatives will start the information campaign in 34 districts, according to the schedule, familiarizing the farmers with the procedures of reception and management of the applications on subsidization for 2020.

Also, decision-makers will put emphasis on informing potential beneficiaries of subsidies about the observance of the eligibility criteria, in order to get this financial support on behalf of the state, as well as the fulfillment of all obligations provided for in the regulations on subsidization.  

The National Fund for Development of Agriculture and Rural Environment for 2020 amounts to one billion lei.
