People's Assembly from Gagauzia approves programme of capital investments in region for 2020

Chisinau, 10 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Regional Assembly (local parliament) of the Gagauz-Yeri Autonomous Territorial Unit (UTA) approved the programme of capital investments for 2020 at a meeting today. The document was worked out by the Comrat-based executive body and provides for the distribution of financial means for regional and local projects.  

Under the document, engineering works this year are planned at the stadium under construction in the Comrat city, at the At-Prolin horse racing sports complex, as well as at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan industrial college from Comrat. The programme also includes the repair of the stadiums from Vulcanesti and Cazaclia, maternity hospital of Ceadar-Lunga, designing and restoration of the health centres from Chirsova, Svetlai and Vulcanesti.     

At the same time, the repair of the sports hall of the specialized school No 1 from Ceadar-Lunga will be also financed; money will be earmarked for the energy optimization of the Mihail Ceachir college from Comrat, as well as for the re-equipment of an education block of the lyceum from the Dezghingea village, for the needs of the kindergarten of this settlement. About 15.72 million lei was provided for the aforementioned projects, according to the website www.gagauzinfo.md.     

At the same time, the autonomy’s lawmakers voted for the financing of seven community development projects. It is about the repair of the stadium from Avdarma, roads from Ceadar-Lunga, construction of the sewerage system from Copceac, continuing the building of a collector in Comrat, connection to gas supply of the Dezghingea village, replacing windows in Congazcic. More works are also seen in the Gaidar village. About 6.19 million lei was allocated to this end in all.   

Some of the aforementioned projects have been already finished, while the others are still to be started.
